Mohanlal`s blog has lot of followers like his films. But the recent one on currency swap didn`t go well with all even though some lauded the actor for his brave stand like the BJP unit of Kerala. He received flaks from activists, politicians, writers, film personalities and common people of Kerala.

Writer N. S. Madhavan took to twitter to express his disappointment on the actor`s statements in his blog. First he tweeted " Antony Perumbavoor Resign! Second one was " From a driver to a 100 crore club, his biography should be made part of curriculum in IAMs. Among the noted who criticized the actor are Bhagyalekshmi (dubbing artist), M. A. Nishad (director), V. T. Balram (MLA), Sabarinath (MLA) etc

Bhagyalekshmi wrote that when she heard about demonetization, she thought that it was only for few days, but when she went through the pang she understood the problem of it. She narrated an incident which she had to face in hospital due to note crisis where a surgery had to be delayed and had to stand in front of the doctor with her head
